    Dallas Sun
    Tuesday 7th September, 2010
    (ANI)

A section of doctors in Rajasthan, who are currently on strike against the alleged baton charging of medicos in Jodhpur, have called off their agitation after the authorities assured them of a thorough probe into the incident.

Senior doctors, medical teachers and private doctors withdrew their strike after the meeting with senior administration and police officials.

However, resident doctors in Jodhpur, Ajmer and Bikaner are likely to continue the strike.

According to sources, at least 50 people have died so far in Jodhpur as they could not be provided treatment in time. (ANI)
