Gemma Arterton never thought she would get married

    (IANS)

British actress Gemma Arterton was so paranoid about broken marriages that she always felt she would never get married. But ultimately she did.

The former Bond girl, who tied the knot with Italian businessman Stefano Catelli in June this year, says she never thought of getting married until she met her now husband at a nightclub last year, reports femalefirst.co.uk.

'I never thought I'd get married because everybody in my life had been divorced. Mum and dad, everybody, especially from the town I grew up in. I never saw successful marriages, so I always thought it was a pointless thing to do. But when I met Stefano, I just understood why you get married. Instantly,' Arterton said.

'You become the same thing and you just grow together. I just got it,' she added.

The 24-year-old admits that she loves her husband's humbleness.

'Oh, he is so hot. And he doesn't even know it, he's so humble. He's gorgeous. And I'm pretty chuffed about that,' she said.
